My Current Activities

The last 8yrs involved moving house, several times, and getting married (Second Marriage) to a special person Sue. We now live in an outer suburban town of Narre Warren which is some 40+ Km SE of the Melbourne city.

After 8yrs of absence my initial intention was to get back into VHF & UHF weak signal work, but my interests are now steering towards HF and Digital Voice & Data.

I am currently active on 40/20/15/10 mtrs running a Dbl Bazooka on 40 and a 3 Element Tri-Bander on 20/15/10. Modes SSB and BPSK31. Also active on 2m, 70cm and 23cm FM/DV. I mostly monitor a local simplex freq 147.525Mhz and 438.950Mhz and also a local IRLP repeater VK3RLP (439.475Mhz – Node 6794)

In D-STAR I monitor Melbourne's first D-STAR gateway VK3RWN on ports A(23cm).
