TROPOSPHERIC DUCTING

Tropospheric Ducting is something I wish to delve into once I have made my 2 & 70 yagi's. This type of propagation is common for Amateurs on VHF / UHF bands getting distances of 100's of kilometers. However the challenge is to find the right conditions to exploit this ducting and achieve 1000's of kilometers. This is not so common.

VK2KRR has a good site covering this aspect and many links to assist with understanding. I found it most helpful. Some Ducting Background Information from Leigh's site
